3.0 METHODOLOGY 3.1 SAMPLE The participants in our study will be 100 people. We are going to include both male and female respondents who are at the age of 20 to 21 years old. The participants are the second year students from various faculties and courses and the participants will be selected randomly regardless of the race and nationality.
3.2 DATA COLLECTION METHOD
We will utilize two methods of data collection. The primary method is through questionnaire and the second method is through interview.
In the questionnaire, 10 questions are going to be asked as a source of our primary data to identify the lifestyle of the individual. The types of questions are closed-ended questions. 10 multiple choice questions are given to the respondents and they have to choose the most relevant and accurate answer to them.
The secondary method to be used is interview method. The interviews will be conducted face to face in the cafe of Universiti Malaysia Pahang (Pekan Campus). About ten questions questions were asked during the interview session.
3.3 PROCEDURE The questionnaires are going to be distributed to the students around the campus.The respondents for our study will be randomly stopped and requested to respond to our questionnaire. The respondents will have about 10 minutes to answer the questions. The questionnaires are collected after the respondents have finished answering the questions. For the interview session, we will conduct it to different respondents. The interview session will be conducted at the cafe in Pekan Campus and the time estimated for each interview is around 10 minutes. The interview session will be conducted 8 in the morning. The conversations will be recorded using a video camera.
3.4 DATA ANALYSIS By the end of the survey we hope to correlate the results obtained into graphs and charts to compare and contrast the findings based on the purpose of the report. The data collected will be presented in Chapter 4.
